I sleepy, accessing the server in the middle of the night to resolve a problem.

Problem solved.

shutdown now

'ssh connection closed'

shutdown now

Go back to sleep.

    At our servers all such commands are prepended with /sbin/ and drop a notice 'Wrong PC! Propably not what you want to do!' for this exact reason ;)

    @justwellbrock Can you provide a list of such commands and an instruction on how to do that?

    Edit root's shell config, and remove /sbin and /usr/sbin from the PATH.

    Sticking the notice on those commands requires a bit more coding dexterity than I'm interested in expending whilst on the can.
