My laptops ram gave up one me on Monday, will take me 2 weeks at least to get back from warranty service !

I can feel the pain. My laptop was 6 months old when the hdd died. I was writing my thesis and had a month to complete. Warranty service said it's gonna be 2 weeks at least but maybe 3. I was like screw it, got a cheap hdd that did the job. That's why my attitude towards this :) of course I know it's not the best idea to void the warranty.
