Anyone who remembers my last rant about getting fake chips might enjoy this.

After realizing that the EEPROMs I got last time were counterfeit, I bought a new set (and different model) from Atmel. They were super easy to hook up, and the best part is they actually work! Behold, my bit-by-bit EEPROM programmer:

reminds me of uni days :(
The only thing that made me go away from hardware is usually the parts I want to buy are expensive, for graduation project four years ago, I made a small board that has smoke sensor, and heat sensor with an Atmega8535, a led that lights up when temperature reaches a certain value, I ended up paying 300$ for all components :\

Congratulations! I wish I could do awesome stuffs like this someday soon.

The last post had a couple of breadboards and I thought it was gonna be a pretty big circuit. Did you manage to squeeze them all up in one or is this only part of the process?
