Who's come up with a system that mirrors devRant but can survive by itself?

I.e. users an post what they like and still survive then devRant servers are dead?

You're probably looking for something similar to Nostr protocol. Mesh of relays you pick for yourself prior to connecting and posting is the way, but they should somehow interconnect with those other people pick. In the end of the day, you want to have a nomadic identity and data jumping with it and not necessarily a devRant 2.0.
