Sorry not my intention. I've just only tried a live cd myself but I bet it's even worse than any of the other 3. It's still in early development

Windows 10 with Ubuntu subsystem. Now get off your high horse.

Failure is not an option. It comes bundled with Windows...

I'm yet to find someone who loves it.

@drRoss Wahey! My first Windows-lover :) Why does Windows make you happy?

@fridaytypo I just find it easy to use and it's what I'm used to. I think it's perceived as cool to dislike Windows, although I do feel that view is changing. Now that Windows has the Ubuntu subsystem, I think everyone has the best of both world's.

@drRoss I think there is an element of it being cool to dislike it. I find it very twitchy, and some things MS do which they think make things easier, actually make it harder. Need to do a reinstall soon so I'll attempt to make it behave better then. I really wanted to like Windows 10, but at the moment it's just driving me nuts!

@fridaytypo Maybe I can help, what do you dislike about it? Since the first major update it's been very stable for me at work, before that it wasn't great. It's not your father's Microsoft anymore, thankfully.

Does anyone know the reason that a lot of companies still use Windows 7? It's driving me nuts at work! Super buggy, hindering workflow, unhideable updates thrice a week with no apparent improvement in performance. Can't wait for the day that MS will drop support for it...

@N8Kolenberg Perhaps you use a legacy app that doesn't support Windows 10?

@drRoss, hmm that could (sadly and unfortunately) make sense... Still, remaining in inefficiency due to legacy apps sucks :-/

@fridaytypo im frystrated cz i am (was) a windows fan boy. hell, i carry two phones and one of them is a Lumia 930

@drRoss It's a multitude of little things, some usability-related, some not. For instance, quick-access is a nice idea, but it's integrated into search and doesn't consider you might want to know where the file is rather than simply open it (I've disabled it now). Part of it is not having the time to sit down and find workarounds, which I'll do when I reinstall (which I hope will resolve the twitchy element too!). Don't think it helps that I've had two twitchy Windows 10 machines in a row!
