    @MatanRad why not? Preserve the syntax highlighting, all the meanwhile not running the code. Win win, doesn't make any difference to anything because it won't even be compiled most likely.

    @px06 I can see what you're saying but honestly lately I've been trying to stop myself from leaving commented code inside my programs, that's what git is for 😋

    @MatanRad git is just for version control, people make their own standards with this sort of thing. I don't see anything wrong with commenting old code,I feel like it helps in a lot of cases.

    I actually found a lot more if(false) constructs in the android source code like this, it really seems to be a common practice there...

    @burnaut there must be a criminal ninja programmer on the Dev team. He if(false)'s code wherever he goes! Who will stop him?! Conditional man Android needs you!
