Windows is such a piece of shit. A couple of months ago I ordered a PC with Windows as an OS (cuz u know games and stuff). Lately it's just throwing random BSODs everytime with a new error message. This is happening not constantly but in a random behaviour. Nevermind ... But now since I switched one of my monitors to a vertical position instead of the traditional horizontal one, Windows just won't want to recognize this monitor. You know what... FUCK WINDOWS! FUCK THIS GAMES! LINUX all the way.

Sounds like a problem with the graphics drivers.

Are you using the ones that windows installed or the ones you can download from nvidias site?

The ones that come with windows used to be quite outdated so newer cards did not work so well until you update directly from nvidia.

Imo you should always do a fresh install and updates+drivers for a new machine. The OS it comes with is so infected and bloated id shoot it in the head if it was alive

@Voxera I have a AMD card (the tag just reminded me of something Linus Torvalds said ^^). I am always on latest drivers. Did actually everything that I could do on updates. I could actually remove everything and install again, but I don't want to invest a lot of time in it, since I use this shitty OS "just" for gaming.

@simpleJack Yeah this was in my mind too, but I don't want to invest time in it (I am a lazy dude). Maybe if I see the urgent to play again in the near future I'll maybe do it then. But for now I'll just stick with Linux on my PC and macOS for work.
