I felt inspired by Programming when I saw 'The Social Network'.

Group of college kids making a website as a hobby and it transforming in into one of the biggest companies in the world was very fascinating to me....

I can't believe they made an action movie out of a startup case instead.. I know is not action but that's the sense. That's not the real excitement of programming in my opinion.

Hollywood version of what happened.

Real version. They made a "hot or not" site, almost got kicked out. Created facebook, one smartass stole it and made a company from it telling the other two to kiss his ass, a few years later the two sue him and get a payout, then smartass starts selling information and gets richer as his users get dumber.
