So @Linux gave me a website to check which happens to have a tutorial on how to close ssh session after x inactive minutes, and now every time I'm back to the terminal I find my self out T_T

but it is a good life savior if I forgot my session on work computer lol

    Haha I did? You can set keep-alive in the client if you want

    @Linux I did that by setting in bash rc file on server, if I set it on my end (client) it will by pass that? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of closing session from the server?

    @Linux if I may ask, I'm using openVPN and added duplicate-cn to its config, on the docker container issue tracker maintainer says it is a bad idea to use it duplicate-cn I was never able to find out why. Do you know why?

    Edit:
    I need it to be able to connect from multiple devices with same cert

    @gitpush
    It is good practise to not have several CN's on the same server, except webhosting.
    The exact reason, I have to find that out too.

    @Linux never mind me, finally found the answer (https://serverfault.com/a/104159)
    Since it is a personal vpn I doubt it will make a problem.

    @Linux I see, I'll be working on security tonight for my VPN and server in general, if I encounter anything and lose hope finding a solution is it ok if I ping you in this rant?

    @gitpush Alright :)
    If it is a personal vpn, I would not consider that a problem yes :)
