My roomate just got to know about Google Home and now he thinks google was the pioneer.

He never heard of Alexa 😐

Wasn’t Google Home released just a few months after? Wouldn’t call Alexa a pioneer in that case, both Amazon and Google must’ve been working for years on both of these products.

@zshh Well the guy is a Google fanboy. He just can't stop glorifying Google for everything which actually weren't Google's innovations.
The guy really just follow Android (yeah not completely google too ) and is practically unaware that other companies are doin stuff too !

I thought google had the tools for a long time to build something like this? (TTS, search engine, google assistant) So they should have come first but didnt?!

@JFK422 They didn't. It was actually Amazon which went all in on voice ui at first !
