WTF? I've been laid off more than a month ago, AND THIS EXTRA-STUPID ACCOUNTING BRAT TEXTS MY PERSONAL PHONE TO COMPLAIN THAT SOME REPORT IS BROKEN.
(she still works for my former company, if that wasn't clear)
Bitch, you fucks literally told me this shit wasn't my problem anymore. Seriously, where do they find those complete morons? Don't they know how "being sacked" works? Or how you cannot expect any work from someone who was sacked?!?
Especially some sheila that only has a job because it is literally illegal to use a pocket calculator instead of an "human" accountant.
Fuck, now I'm kinda happy I'm out of that nuthouse.

Always a good chance to offer your services as a consultant for a completely ridiculous amount.

@RevThwack unfortunately that requires a freelancer license.

@Lensflare where? I've never heard of such a thing.

    Ask for 400USD/hr with a 40h retainer.

You have domain knowledge, and can whip things up faster than hiring someone new to do it.

@lungdart I don‘t know about other countries but in Germany it‘s called "Gewerbe anmelden".
  • 8
@Lensflare Germany keeps getting more and more terrifying
  • 4
@Lensflare in Canada you can work for yourself without getting the government involved. Until 40k of revenue in the last 4 quarters, then you need to start collecting sales tax.

@Lensflare Not for freelancers (Freiberufler). https://sevdesk.de/blog/... - Programmers are mentioned as example.

Obviously, you need to declare that additional income in your tax declaration.

@Lensflare y'all have freelancer licenses in Germany? Y'all mfkrs dont play around eh?

TBH I like that, I really do. Is it hard to get one? Or is it just applying for it and getting one?

If something like that was available in the U.S (which is not) and it was hard to get because there had to be a fee + and exam to take for proficiency it would sure as shit cut down a lot of annoying competition.

@ViRaS sounds like paradise to me. My real life German homies are fucking precise, dudes are a walking precision knife.

And they have a tendency to do shit logically to the point of extreme coldness. I would rather take that over the ocean of fkn morons that surround me on the daily

@AleCx04 I don‘t know the details because I always was an employee and never wanted to do freelancing. @Fast-Nop seems to know more.

    HAHAHAHAHA

god i hate stuff like this, they have so little respect they fire you and then STILL expect you to answer questions months later

i hate the corporate world truly

    @Lensflare
Gewerbe anmelden cost you a day at the customs and literally EUR 12.50
  • 2
    @Fast-Nop
Remember that anything below 12500 allows you to ignore the VAT

Is this an excuse by this person to contact you because they "miss" you? Maybe you are overlooking a crush.

@Demolishun eeeeeww, she must be at least fifteen years younger than me. Really hope this interpretation of yours is wrong.

    Aaanyway
    For Germany:
Mandatory licence for business transactions is tied to minimum standards for people not to fuck up the lot.
    Ez
You don't need that licence before freelancing, just within a year of doing business.
Nor does it come with restrictions. It's designed to keep off scammers, rogue traders and crooks.
And if you attempt to fake your balances, that's it. Yo' out.
    É basta

@Lensflare Only in Germany, I've yet to see that being mandated anywhere else.
