Well today i went to grab a coffee at starbucks saw my best friend working decided to buy him one too i sit down we start talking and i saw him using visual studio code and asked him why don't you use vim and answered "vim is for programmers that don't know what to do with their life and cant decide what ide they like" i didn't think twice and slapped the shit out of him fuck him. I think i might need a new best friend.

Is vim even an ide.. I always thought it was just a text editor. Does it even have refactorings? Can you set breakpoints, navigate a project with thousands of files or view changes between files?

I use VS code and I hate Vim with a burning passion. Now go ahead and beat the shit out of me. Make me bleed if you want, I'll still use VS code and I will still hate Vim.

@rantalicious I must be bad with people or something. When I someone say they slapped the shit out of someone I assume they did in fact hit him, quite hard. What doesn't come naturally for is to assume that he just added it in for lulz and ++. Guess the latter was the case this time tho.
