HR demands everyone to fill in a form to give compliments to all employees of the company for the "national compliment day" in 2 days. You literally have to write something for all employees including people you have never met or heard they existed.

What a time waste.

just repeat "i like that you are not as dumb as HR" for everyone (except HR of course)

Had something similar at my job

5 of us complained and They cancelled it and changed it to only having to give feedback about 4 colleagues

They said ”sorry, we messed up and didn’t consider that many of you didn’t know eachother”

That's nothing. At an office job early in my career, we were told to "justify our salaries" and submit the answers to the HR via email.

Can you write a generic comment and copy and paste it? Do you love you love your job? I have an aberrant mind. I'd be tempted to write things like GAVE ME AN STI, NEVER FORWARDED MY MAIL AFTER OUR THRUPLE DIDN'T WORK OUT... you get the picture. Good luck with this...
