    @legionfrontier Thanks! Finally a place where I can rant without drowning in hate
  • 2
    @sn0wbr0 Yeah, let some steam off here as long is related about your stuff, because even I dont know how much banter people can allow here since I have seen some get "hurt" about some words, but I think the community is good so far as long as you arent pushing bounderies here for what Im venturing a guess

    @legionfrontier Of course, everybody needs to let some steam off every now and then. I'm glad I found a community like this just to rant together about relevant stuff. Definitely not here to push any buttons nor boundries, but I can imagine people getting "hurt" indeed.

    @JoshBent Problem is that there's no whois privacy for the .xxx domain. Although I could easily fake my details, if I'd need a transfer and they need verification, even my I'd card wouldn't work with the fake details :/

    @linuxxx did you have to verify your details when transferring the domain to your dutch host too? (would they offer whois protection via their own addressing for example?) I thought it was all flat just getting the auth code.
  • 1
    @JoshBent I don't have it yet haha
  • 2
    @JoshBent Damn I'm searching online now and according to at least one site, whois protection IS available for xxx domains O_o
  • 0
    @linuxxx yeah I know I meant the other domain, since you moved hosts because of free whois on your dutch one. Regarding whois, well.. theres always those small hosters that fill their company data for your whois, just gotta find them - the one I knew that did it, is not hosting anymore 😅
  • 2
    @JoshBent The hosting company where I work also provides that, although they're only growing :)
  • 1
    @JoshBent Then, it's a legal requirement to provide it here so yah haha

    @linuxxx wanted to ask if they could do it for you, but that would automatically tell us via whois where you work, so not ideal 😅
