I listen to classical music
These days mostly Chinese traditional

A bit of everything, actually.
- Classical music: mostly Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Dvorak, Haydn, Handel, Wagner, Carmina Burana (O Fortuna when debbuging), Tcahikovsky, Vivaldi, and so on...
- Ambient: Carbon Based Lifeforms mainly and others
- Post Rock: this is my main choice: Explosions in the Sky, God is an Astronaut, Mogwai.
- Others: David Lanz, The Reign of Kindo, The American Dollar, and a lot of Instrumental bands.

(Maybe I'm missing some right now)

I just combined all of my 80s superhero music, with a couple other electronic beat heavy / lyric lite tracks into a 52 hour playlist. It's been good so far.

I prefer infected mushroom, i guess they do trance. But mostly monstercat they have a good artist

Mostly I listen to jinsang nowadays, because he is just exceptional and I constantly have some of his tunes stuck in my head.. its awesome

A lot of "modern 'rap'" sounds like something that's made on a whim..and the trend where it sounds like they're abusing an autotune while jumping a trampoline is just.. *cringe*..

Metal.

Blind Guardian, Rhapsody, Kamelot, Van Canto, Nightwish, ...

I am weird. I either listen to modern rock, grime / rap or if I'm feeling tired both and a podcast all at once. Somehow it helps me think.

Imperial circus dead decadence 😅

I listen to a Korean, techno, cyberpunk, instrumental band called Idiotape.

Or I sit there with my headphones on in silence trying to figure out what the hell is the point of it all.

Cinematics etc. for focus. In case of shitty tasks that need to get done either metal or dubstep.

Whatever it is, it must not have any kind of understandable lyrics.

Either AmaLee , or Fantasy B.C music like that from Derek Fiechter (His album Inns and Villages is a piticular favorite of mine, it reminds me of those top-down RPGs xD)

I'm also trying to learn Latin, so I'd love to find like Latin podcasts to listen to while I work. (Once I'm able to actually understand them, this might not work out that well, though. xD)

For example vicetone, kakmaddafakka (don't know if spelled correct) green day and many many others

Rawstyle (aka raw hardstyle).

But yah I listen to that always mostly :P

I'd just let youtube decide depending on my mood in any given morning, I will only intervene if a song from Justin bieber or co. starts playing..

@simulate Hell yes. I’ll just listen to his entire discography for hours on end when I’m in the zone

I mostly pick a small playlist of electronic tracks (usually with vocals, those may be English or Japanese, or sometimes Chinese or Spanish or something) that I've already listened to so many times that I can't get distracted by them, but are still good songs. And then I play that on loop.

Basically it's about music without distracting the brain. Which is weird, actually, because I do often sing along to the music without realizing it. 🤔
