Potatoes having black spots is usually due to humidity. Same with carrots. Once you peel them, they are usually just fine.

@CoreFusionX thanks, i don’t mind the slight sourness to them bc the ketchup masks it damn well. I had a slight belly ache which could’ve been from anything else I ate. I didn’t want to toss in the trash and waste food, I hate wasting food
