@AlexDeLarge yeah, our dev team had a meeting with our boss ( lead dev... ) and our main complaint was this shit. It was as if we where chanting together something that echoed like: "no more bullshit! No more bullshit! No more bullshit!"
It was beautiful. At least it affects him too and he said things are gonna change next year as we are adopting some agile principles brought by me, finally :D -
@azous oh my god... Our client sends up huge spreadsheet of complicated data. I mean huge. These bitches have cells with functions that span through sheets and books. It's crazy. Then they say "could you find a way to put this stuff into a web application?"....
Like... "Bitch I don't know where these numbers even come from!"
Their response "we don't know either. Just follow the links back and hard code any numbers you can't figure out"....

I can't spend weeks trying to figure out wtf is your specific domain specifications if you ain't answer my questions with clarity I'm gonna keep asking them in slightly different ways as if you where a search engine and I'm trying to search wtf is in your mind.
