I purchased the worst keyboard ever for coding

Please help , suggest me some good keyboards( mechanical) for typing/coding

Also as a coder will you pefer the cherry mx red for coding?

I honestly prefer MX blue over red any day, a much better tactile feel for me, reds feel really mushy to me

for me laptop keyboards are the best for development.
Then comes apple keyboard, though this one is expensive

@mohit3112 don't they sell it ? iMac Pro comes with black keyboard, I thought they sell it aside and not only with iMac Pro, go check if budget isn't the problem it will fit best with your laptop since it is also a mac

I like keyboards which have scissor based mechanics.

At least I had to decide between two keyboards:
- Logitech craft (if budget doesn't matter ;D)
- Rapoo E9270P (much cheaper but for me it's OK, till now I hadn't the time to learn the drawbacks at gaming ;) )

Yes its k380 noo I didn't like it , it was weird and mushy they gave me a bad one maybe , but i am used to mac keyboard i like if my keys have a good feedback

It's actually what you want and what you don't i am not rich, i know my math. macbook pro = $1799 if i save $10 a day i can make it in 180 days , .....actually it took 1.5 years ( fuck math) all i want to say is it all bolis down to what you want.

I got a similar one, key combinatos suck, the brackets need altgr, punctuation is hard too.

I will pay more attention to that next time..

I use the ergodox infinity and will never go back, but as a wonderful entry into the r/mk world I would recommend the poker 3. great but functionality out of the box (remap caplock to fn) and such. For an office my go to is mx browns but that's all opinion.

I prefer Cherry MX Blue or Green.

@sslPoodle Yeah works great on Linux and Windows. I haven't used it on a Mac but I'd imagine that it would work fine there aswell.
