Anyone else suffer with an inability to compartmentalize?

Like f I have the slightest issue going on in my personal life, you can forget about giving a shit about your fictional deadlines on products that aren't even going live anytime soon

Compartmentalization is a myth. Human beings have emotions, the end.

    You're not suffering, you're normal

@lungdart I'm definitely suffering. But I'm glad to know it's normal

I think our stress response is there for good reason (it has sustained our species for a long time), but is poorly utilized due to external factors that are far beyond our control

    And that's okay

    Poes same.

Im working at home in my living room with my gf in the couch. If Im frustrated with work, or if the house isn't clean, it create conflict with my gf, which in turn makes work harder, which give me less time to clean up.

I want to take an office but she say "why waste money, we can make it work".
