I had a company event last Friday and the CEO announced to go back to 2 days in the office.

And a bit later, he went on a spiel that employees should disable notifications more to focus. But he wants that we go back to the office... an open office with a lot more background noise.

My closest colleague that I work the most with is 2000 km away....

Has anyone come up with an actually valid or good reason to enforce office days, yet?
Because all of the reasons that I heard so far are bs.

@Lensflare The only reason that they gave is for the social factor which I understand (not agree with).

And probably because the office rent is massive and is nearly empty for all days.

We currently have 1 day that the devOps try to be in the office (that works near the office at least) and so far, it's the less productive day for every devOps person.
