If you ever decide to become a manager, I hope every time you sit down, your chair makes a farting sound, but just once, so you can’t repeat it to demonstrate that it was in fact your chair and not yourself.

I have nothing against managers but I secretly curse them to shit themselves every time they give an unclear/unrealistic/do-it-now type of task

I was fine with my managers in exception of one. The exception guy, I asked him for a change in Jira. As long that he didn't change it, I refused to fill in my hours. He filled in my hours for more than a half year. Then, he was leaving company and then I had to ask "why you freaking never did my Jira change" and he admitted that he doesn't know how. You fucker, ask or smth? Now he would've had GPT..

Managers are many times nice/happy people but what do they do all day? I couldn't live without decent eindproduct. Need to make smth. Software is already often not materialistic enough. My dad drives around village and says "I made x and that home, y at that house" etc. So cool. I can't really show what I do

@geneticCode What about a manager that gives 0 tasks or ideas ?

He gets a ton of problems each day, yet he doesn't even attempt to give us an idea how to solve it.

Or isn't that what managers do ?
