Both. Put Linux and Windows on desktop.
Then I can run Windows stuff like games that don't support linux on my desktop that is probably better than the laptop, but I will also be able to use Linux.

Laptop gets Linux so I have convenient access to most games on the gutsier desktop machine.

    Trick question; I wouldn't run Linux. 🤷

Desktop runs windows. That's my current configuration because I use the laptop more xd and I like Linux more

I put Windows on both and then run a Linux VM on the Desktop if needed... Bc it has more space.

O wait Win 10 has integrated Ubuntu... Hm... I'll turn that on on the desktop because it has more space.

Windows goes on desktop with Linux so I can game and work, but only Linux on laptop so I can cram it on an SSD and use it only for dev work so I can't be tempted to give up when debugging.

Linux on the desktop. You don't take desktops to meetings.

Windows on the laptop. You take laptops to meetings.

Dual boot Linux and Windows on desktop and also make that desktop into a gaming pc.

Linux on laptop so you can develop 24/7 everywhere.
