okkimus19697yFirst thing I did was turn it 100% from 125%. Like everything looked so pixelated.
Often though I zoom in websites in browser... -
Wozza638787y768 is not enough real estate, my 15" is 100% at 1080p except when it's used as a second monitor then it's 720p because it's further away.

HAlex27817y@DjSall yeah, that's what I like, you have more space. On my Galaxy I've turned everything to the minimum and it looks bigger than every other phone I've seen
-
Wozza638787y@DjSall done that on my oneplus one as well. Just makes the screen feel so much bigger and less wasteful
-
tahnik389917yMy laptop is 13".
I use 125% in Windows. In linux, I have only been able to get fractional scaling working with KDE. And that's not perfect either. The icon still looked small. But it never bothered me for some reason.
And fractional scaling in Gnome or other DE is almost non-existent.
Using 100% in a 13" screen is like punishing your eyes and brains. -
okkimus19697y@tahnik
Yeah, I have my 14" screen with 100%. Sometimes I need to get closer to the screen. -
tahnik389917y@HAlex yeah it is. But it looks fine with 125%. Looks for crisp with 150% but I have less viewport to work with so I stick with 125%.

O_o I have a 15" laptop with a 4k screen. What are you all talking about zooming in your screen?

cb21910197y12" screen, 4k, scale 100% ... can't do shit cause everything is sooo tiny.
was so much fun using gimp and brackets ... not😥

Since I bought my laptop the screen was scaled to 125% (1080p display) so that it looks like a ~768p display.
I like it, it looks good, but now I'm trying it at 100% scaling (15" screen).
Yes, everything looks so small now, and my eyes cried for the first 10 minutes, but I'm starting to like it.
Do you have any similar experience? What do you prefer, 100%, 125% or something else? Why?
