    Me in SO: either the questions get ignored till I answered it myself, or get downvoted for duplicates. But mostly the former.

    I'm constantly surprised so many people have issues with SO. I've asked quite a few questions there and never had a problem.

    "they're the problem, not me" is almost always a false statement.

    @Gogeta70 No, it's SO. We've all witnessed it. Read the docs they have for how to post. It's stringent as fuck, and in a lot of cases, you can follow the docs to a tee and STILL have mods fuck you over.

    All I can say is I've been on SO for years without any of these problems...

    I generally don't have a problem using existing content, but will never contribute myself. Most questions I have can be answered by Reddit or IRC

    Well, it is community-led, so I think your experience may vary depending on the tag :) My experience on SO has been pretty great.
