Am I the only one that feels like the Linux sound driver (alsa) have a more clean sound than the windows drivers? I'm a pianist (at least I'm playing the piano in my free time 😜) and I feel more comfortable with the sound on my Linux. (I use the same physical piano modeling software on both systems)

@Zennoe Answer comes a little late. But the piano software I'm using physically renders the sound of the piano depending on what keys are pressed. So I'm not really comparing 2 audio tracks but rather how good the same software manages to render the audio. But I totally agree, in theory there shouldnt be a difference as its the same audio played by the same speakers. Whereas on windows I have to use special audio drivers that allow direct access to hardware for low latency ALSA can do that by default. Latency is kinda important. You even feel the difference between say 1.5ms latency and 3ms latency when playing the piano.
I honestly don't know what I wanted to say now but I agree with you and I wanted to reply as you commented some comment with quality
