GCHQ2777yI've briefly used both and I'd say C++ because it can be cross platform where you are stuck with windows if you use C#. C++ is also more challenging imo and that's what I prefer.

exelix11237yIf you don't have any programming experience with c-like languages go with c# to start and then move to c++, if you are already good at java go with c++
Still c# is much faster (in terms of dev time) for simpler applications with its windows forms
