can people stop sending me giveaways and shit

it's gambling. fuck off.

my life is not better by getting this nonsense. always gives me anxiety because it hits me with the math of doom. how is this ethical in any way. every regular non-sus shop does this now. it's pervaded every damned business and it's disgusting. makes me depressed for the world

and ofc everyone's favourite daddy government just lets this happen. gambling is bad if we vilify the person, but otherwise it's fine. hell, then government ITSELF told people they could WIN A MILLION DOLLARS if they got the covid shot here. fucked up. chance to die and bigger chance to maim yourself irreparably forever, maybe you'll literally win the lottery though, see we partnered up with the local lottery company. isn't government so great?!

Heh, we're worse. The only gambling company chain is owned by the government here. Since shortly also others are allowed. They made it legal during covit shit. Let's make gambling legal while everyone is down. There are around 30 lotteries you can take part of, all owned by government

if it's a giveaway, it's free (in capitalism, your time doesn't count unless you can write a bill for it).

and if it's free, it's not gambling.

also: if you _have_ to drag vaccination in here again, then: purely based on statistics alone, when not considering any personal predispositions that might scew the results, "not getting the recommended vaccinations" is by far the bigger gamble. but the again - since when did you give a crap about facts?

@jestdotty you DO know what the word "statistics" mean? and that even with the best odds in any gambling situation, you can still lose?

no, apparently you don't, because you've got brain damage.

also, i can counter-offer the following:

    * several people i've known having actually died from covid

    * many people (including whole family) i know still struggling with the long-term efects

    * myself still having reduced sense of smell and taste, as well as reduced physical endurance.

and yes, all from the sickness, and not the vaccine, which i can prove on a level simple enough even for you to understand, because allmost all of this happened before vaccines were even available here.

@jestdotty to repeat one keypoint: all this happened _before_ the vaccine even existed.

please explain to me how, in your magical brain-damaged world, a vaccine can cause problems _before_ it exists?

also: the loss of smell/taste/etc is not brain damage, but nerve damage. _fundamental_ difference.

i believe you about having brain damage, but i'm convinced that is completely unrelated and already was the case before.

and maybe for _you_ personally covid was nothing, but, to repeat myself again: i know several people who died from it. ALSO before the vaccine even existed. i was pretty close to needing a hospital myself.

also: i never said that the vaccine is without risk. no vaccine is. no medical procedure whatsoever is.

oh, and as for "capitalist incentive": girl, health insurance in my country is covering fucking homeopathy.

there is absolutely no capitalist incentive in "developing high-tech medicines" when you can just sell overpriced tictacs.

@jestdotty ...did you mean "cost OF risk"?

edit: and _you_ sound like a tinfoil-hat-enthusiast.

@jestdotty that's aluminium foil you're talking about - tin foil is made of tin ;)

also, unless you're overly acidic, there's no significant leakage from aluminium foil.

    so don't be so sour.

I’ve always loved gambling, and online casinos are perfect for relaxing after a tough day. The variety of games keeps me entertained, and I enjoy finding new sites to explore. Website https://gama-casino.de/ is one that impressed me with its ease of use and exciting features.
