Nawap13977yExactly
U need to use the programming language, not learn it .(learn basic like C,C++)
Everyday u will encounter new Lang,
And u can't learn it completely to use it! -
@DewWisp not really, no. The language itself poses no major advantage, of any, being constrained to a .net only ecosystem is enough to not go the c# route. Not saying it is a bad language, but superior to Java? No.

@oo92 thanks man. Maybe i was unable to explain myself. I meant to say that.. In spite of using it, I could never liked java. Its like a forced relationship.
By god's grace i found my peace with Python. -
@imsam I read that. Makes no difference to my comment. The thing is, what will happen if you don't get any other language? My only suggestion would be to keep going at it man, build more stuff till it sticks. Its the nature of Java really :P
I am saying this in the nicest way btw, not trying to be a dick or anything. -
@imsam nah bro don't worry about it :) didn't take it the wrong way. Truth be told, if you don't "feel" a language its fine. Me for example, I tried really hard to click with Haskell and I just couldn't, I know that it is a good and powerfull lang, but I just couldn't click with it. Might be the same case and you just can't click with Java

@AleCx04 yes, really, yes.
c# is the result of asking "what would java look like if its designers first stopped and thought: how do we design this language so that it makes sense?" -
i am pretty surprised it took you 6 months of learning to realize that it sucks. it took me 2 days...
no offense... -
@Midnigh-shcode the two languages are nigh identical except for a few minor differences, if anything c# contains more sugar.
And no, the designers though: lets not let Sun have all the fun and make a language identical to theirs as to obtain that market share. It is hard for me to understand how can someone hate Java whilst loving c# when both languages are really close. And I am not basing this on hobby prefferences, but in actual enterprise development in both areas. After picking Java I had no problem whatsoever picking c#. And just to point out I am not saying that one is superior over the other or that c# sucks. I like em both but tend to use Java more since I feel I have more freedom to chose my stacks. -
Root825997yPersonally, I really hate working in Java. It's just so clunky.
But some people love it, and it works well enough I guess, so good for them. -
@Root well to be fair, everything feels clunky after Ruby. I find myself regularly thinking 'this would be a billion times easier in Ruby' or 'this makes waaay more sense in Ruby'
