I think it will lead to more home office combined with VR meetings.
This way you can really work from anywhere and with a reasonable way of communication and organization of tasks.
The hours and hours people spend on their journey to the workplace are a waste of money, time and energy (Carbon Dioxide output etc.) and it creates stress.
Imagine how MUCH energy we could save this way and especially how many traffic jams and cars we could avoid.
