I did some investigation and now i know the criminal, he's a PM (not mine though)
It hurts i can do nothing about it :(

Haha guys, I am now at the end of my master's degree internship, and i am signing a contract soon with them. So I'll just take my chair back LATER when i can!! now I just have to behave xD,
Besides, he is in another office with a huge team, I can't just knock and ask for my chair back!

you knw what i did when this happened to me? i got a guy in a higher post take the chair from the guy who stole mine and use it for himself while i went and got another chair

My colleague got sick. When he came back, instead of his chair, he got a cheap wooden chair. Boss called it "creative chair"

I once was sick for a week. Came back to find that someone had fixed the handles on my chair!

Normally that would be nice, but I had actually reversed them so they would be more flat.

Anyway OT: If the chair is really crap, make a complaint to HR that your chair is causing you back pain. That should get you a new one pretty quickly with all the laws surrounding healthy work environments.

Come visit where I work, the chairs breed when they aren't being used. Also, the quality of the chairs seem pretty good despite all their inbreeding.
