Spotify in India??? Seriously?? Is it a bug or have they released it silently??

Nope. Doesn't seem so. India is missing from the list. I'm using Spotify here in India though. Subscribed to a spotify family plan via a friend living in US.

@bitsnpieces They payment options would not be in INR. If you don't have subscription, I guess you can only shuffle play.

@respam I tried searching for tracks and playing and it worked. I dont know the extensive list of features Spotify offers but whatever I was trying to do worked.

Amazon prime music??? Naah.. not so much.. I am happy with my google play music..

The same happened to me some days ago when my VPN app stopped working so my UK login was gone. Researching I found a comment on reddit that there is some bug with their Facebook implementation which bypasses the country check. I'm currently back to my UK login but yeah Facebook login of any country works.

I would know if I was using one. Nope I am most certainly not.

I signed up using facebook and even though my location on facebook is India, my profile on spotify says Netherlands and I am enjoying free ad-less service since these many days.

You can try this method and see if it works for you. Go to open.spotify.com and signup using facebook. Tell me if it works.
