What’s up with that placeholder’s aspect ratio?

Also, you should be seeing it just for a fraction of the second.

@Lensflare the sun (or moon?) circle is an oval. It means that this icon wasn't originally square, but was shrunk to become one.

About the fraction of a second thing… not sure about that. I have 150 Mbps fiber, and I'm seeing it all the time. Some avatars load instantly, some not so much

Regarding the loading times, it might be the devrant servers. I don’t know.
