So I just heard a person giving career advice say not to use mailto on your profile as a button. The reason is that, "she doesn't use the apple email thing, and it's annoying having to copy and paste it into Gmail. At which point, her attention is lost." do these people really make any decisions at any levels at all? God help us. (For the record, I don't believe in God).

But if it wasn't a button, wouldn't she have to copy/paste it anyways?

Bahahahahaha great point! I should add she was also upset because doing that takes forever. (Since she has no fucking clue how an email client works, so her inbox has 200000000 messages, and therefore takes 20 minutes to open)

First post says she uses gmail.

Second says she uses an email client.

Mailto launches your email client. She uses Gmail in the browser.

When her client launches it takes 20 minutes. That's why she doesn't like mailto. And she's a moron. That too.

@ChachiKlaus she could just Google how to make gmail the default for mailto links ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Awlex Dude lmao. Her comment literally made me sign out of zoom for a minute.

@ChachiKlaus understandable. most people are not suited to process such a high amount of bullshit at once

Literally. Only reopened after tragic realization these are sometimes the people you're trying to impress.
