Wait, you can do it on Linux? I hadn't noticed.

My lappy has admin access to several web applications handling and transferring real money, meaning anyone able to log in could potentially make quite the financial mess in their favor. So, my password is very long and annoying to type.

My current one isn't even in English, so. 🙂 No brute forcing, no guessing, no dictionary, no watching my hands and figuring it out.

@Root Snowden style? Cover your keyboard with a blanket while typing it in.

@olback Snowden has a lot more to worry about than I do.

But since the password isn't in a language anyone I'll run into is familiar with, and because I type very quickly, it would take a lot of watching for anyone to figure it out. (Or, you know, a camera, but I suppose that's what a blanket would be for.)

I'm more worried about someone seeing a short girl with a nice MacBook and trying to rob/rape me. A nice password doesn't help there, but pepper spray, a taser, and a lot of anger might.

@Root don't let it happen. It's really sad that girls even have to think about this.
If something happens, don't be afraid to talk to someone you trust. (offline)
