    Most of the people check their phone at least once per hour. How can you don't have a phone, and if you don't have a phone, how can you post here 🤔

    @BindView speak about no sim card, I really need a iPod touch, but apple seems give up on this product.😓

    @sunfishcc omg, talk about a throw back lol. I had a gen 2, loved that thing, don't even know where it is now though :/ I remember wanting one so bad and being ecstatic when I opened it on Christmas :D

    @ScribeOfGoD this reminds me,
    😭 my 1st camera phone got stolen within a week,
    my 1st and last iPod photo got stolen within a week.
    In my memory, most of my stuff got stolen soon or later.
    Maybe lack of memory?😩

    @sunfishcc we're in the same boat man, my first ome got stolen within a week, but my parents loved me so they bought me another one, i was lucky

    @ScribeOfGoD I don't understand how can someone steal from a person he will see everyday and pretend nothing happened 😨

    Man... I hire devs all the time, I've never met someone without a phone number. Having the ability to talk on the phone is critical...

    A SIM is kinda critical when looking for a job and having one. I've had a few times my server went down and I get a call at 2am to come to work and fix it. Employers like to have a 1-1 communication with you instead going through a 3rd party service

    @Alpham0use isn't the mobile network also a 3rd party service? And even a very insecure one.

    @gitpull @RobertSmits I'd rather trust the local phone network than Skype or telegram!
  • 4
    @linuxxx @gitpull But there are secure free and open source alternatives.
  • 2
    @RobertSmits And I use those :) (not counting telegram as a secure option by the way)
  • 3
    @linuxxx Funny thing, I don't use them I found it is quite hard to get people to move to a new messsging platform. Truely whith the insane ammount of friends I have (like 5 or so). So here I am still using Facebook Messenger
  • 1
    @RobertSmits I said fuck it and moved to the most easy to use open solution and left the rest behind :)
  • 3
    @linuxxx And what solution may that be?
  • 1
    @RobertSmits That's Signal in my case :)

    (apologies to the OP for getting this convo going on HIS rant :( let's stop now)
