Honestly, I don't admire that. Raises the question what else that person is doing in life...
Like Steam tracks the game hours... I'm not proud of that and would rather not see it -
@Vitz so you add just a handful of variables a day to your code, or stack days of work before committing something? xD

I wonder what happened that day in August though. Stack Overflow down? Broken keyboard? Ran out of coffee? Guess we'll never know.

I personally commit when I'm done with big parts of the task/functionality, not everytime that I'm adding threads or some buttons. -
theseeker577yIf you work with GitHub on a daily basis 'cause your company uses it that's not so hard to achieve.

@Vitz got it... But maybe you should consider committing more often and create branches for the features you're working on instead. That way the repository is always up-to-date (specially useful if you use more than one machine in a day) and the new stuff is organized in separate branches.
Someday my GitHub will look like this as well.
