I always either code without thinking or think without coding. The sweet spot is so elusive.

    There's no sweet spot unless you either think as slow as you type or type as fast as you think.

    It only feels like I'm approaching that sweet spot when coding in Clojure, but fuck, why can't we have an AST editor instead of text editor...

    And other languages I know are just not enough expressive.

    If you consider binaries (machine language) as first gen and human readable code as second gen, programming languages today are mostly still second gen since the 1960s. Next step would be sth much more general and intuitive.
