What is it Sublime Text has that you can't do with VSCode or, is it just simply personal preference?
-
@Vip3rDev 3 things
1) Always found Sublime more extensible with their plugins
2) Text search is better in Sublime
3) Speed is unbeatable, because it's a text editor instead of trying to be a full blown IDE
Mostly personal preference too -
@kortnevdmitriy ya I liked it, but the pricing was definitely a put off, in indian salary, it's a lot

nikmanG15287yBecause I can’t buy sublime I usually use a composite of IntelliJ for java projects, PHPStorm for large web design projects and VSCode for smaller website stuff (like if I need to quickly modify one small file) and as a general notepad since its load time is really fast on my laptop. Atom I used to like but then started noticing the load times were exponentially higher than anything else I used and it was pretty resource heavy compared to its counterparts.
Related Rants
Tried both vscode and atom. However, keep coming back to Sublime Text, now only if they provided completion as good as IntelliJ, they would beat everyone
