I work at a startup and our office is inside a collab-space. Last week they organized a workshop called:
"Using the blockchain to prevent loeliness".

And even worse: people were paying to attend it :(

@py2js thanks for the welcome. Sadly no :( It had something to do with connecting devices of people in the neighborhood through the blockchain. And that they can press on the device if they are in trouble (like falling). But I really don't see the purpose of the blockchain here. 😅

@KarmaM oh you don't see the purpose, I can tell you the purpose. It's a buzz word so people will get attracted to it whether there a really a use of blockchain or not.
