!rant; question = true;

Switched to non-google for every device I own, however:
When I accidently go to Google and try to search, it tells me that I am blocked for suspicious activity and need to solve a captcha - If I do, the current search works.. Shortly after tho, it gives me the same thing again.

Any idea how to get more detailed info about the issue, e.g. Ensure none of my systems is quietly participating in a botnet?

PS: why should I care? Just don't use Google! That's right, yes, it still bugs me tho

    Are you using Tor? Bots often use Tor which causes the exit node to be marked by Google.

    @tisButABug nope, I am not, not using any proxy/anonymizer/tunnel - maybe I should start doin so?

    If you can't really be tracked, Google might think that you're a bot, hence the captcha. It's a tad annoying but that's the cost of privacy, I guess.

    @Jilano that would be a rather good compliment from Google right there! I doubt it though, at least User-Agent + IP.. And stored cookies should make me trackable.

    I will look at a packet dump of all outbound traffic and verify browser extensions when I am in front of the machine, maybe that shows something obvious!

    If you want to go non-google, use duckduckgo.com it has really great feature like automatic Q/A from stack overflow or other things like that

    What measures did you take so far? Did you block Google's scripts?

    @7400 just checked, I have the Addon "TrackMeNot" installed.. And most Google pages blocked in NoScript.. That could be the source of the problem ^^
