@sunfishcc i think those are days where you do software DEVelopment . But i'm not sure if there's a difference between coding at work or in your free time.

CatMDV10467yReading is really one of the most fascinating things that one can do to relax. It's fun and (if its non-fiction) enhances your knowlege and helps your self growth a LOT.
Also, did you know almost all successful people read a lot? -
@CatMDV
Welcome to devRant!
Also, I love reading more than anything. It's one of my favorite hobbies. :) -
Pointer32377y@sunfishcc At this point, I don't know whether you're trolling or not, but I'll give you the benefit of doubt.
A Tough dev day it's when you find yourself blocked, burned out, or something like that, related to a normal dev day. -
@Pointer I don't consider being stucked as tough.
If you choose to code you should feel the same too.
The only thing I worry about is repeating myself all day.
How can you justfiy your existence if your job can be easily replaced bots?
No offense, just my opinion. What do you think? -
@Cyanide
I know, I know. I'll log in sometime this week. I've been busy, you know. :/ -
@Cyanide
I do have the app, but if I log in people will keep me there for hours trying to talk. -
Pointer32377y@sunfishcc Yeah, automation will be the demise of us...up to a point. I think that the vision of leaving repetitive and tedious tasks to bots it's okay, because that way we can do more meaningful (at least for everyone of us) things with our lives.
Related Rants
Personally, the best way of getting through tough dev days is by reading books or writing stories and poems.
