Hopefully get out to the public the two projects I have been working on currently. A local focused startup help website and a local focused fillable forms platform.

And hopefully get my first large scale software project kickstarted - A retail management system on a full Feedback Driven Development approach perhaps with the ability to integrate AI and ML later on.

Mu first two bosses were cool. Always defended us when top management come down. Will show with evidence that it is others (non-IT personnel in other departments) are clearly at fault and not us. But when they leave, will tear us a new one because lets face it, we were not that innocent 😅. Still, always kept us clean and out of trouble from the big guys.

What is this "Social Life" you speak of? Is it another JavaScript framework? 🤔

1.Have a side business
2.Build an IoT project for home.
3.Refactor my code (Im not saying I'm a bad coder but, if some of you saw my code, you'd probably want to strangle me to death in my sleep, so....)
4. And finally, maybe post a rant/reply with no spelling mistakes so that I don't have to edit that shit every fricking time after I post something.

Hating on every other language that he/she doesn't use.

TL;DR - (almost) childhood trauma due to Wesrern Digital crap products lead to lot of data loss and a plege to not trust or purchase their products for the rest of my life.

So, I got my first ever Wester Digital 2TB Mybook, back when 2TB was a really big thing. While in the midst of moving (not copying) a LOT of data to it, the damn disk just.. died. There was no fall, no power outage, no damage, it just stopped working. I was out of words and out of options. Tried yanking out the disk and connecting it directly to a system, but no luck because it looks like it's the HDD mobo that died.

Also stupid young me did not realise back then that, even if a "moved" the data, the original data is still most likely in their original location, and so, never bothered a recovery.

Lots of good stuff lost that day.

And as with a lot of you, my disaster recovery system kicked up 10 fold. Now I got redundant local and cloud backup copies of all critical and otherwise unattainable data.

As you may have guessed, I never bought another Wester Digital product ever again. My internal HDDs are Segate, and external is a suprisingly long lived Toshiba Canvio.

After the "Cloud Computing" trend, the new trends these days seems to be ML, VR and AI. And while I am very excited about all these techs and the possibilities it can bring, I can't help feel that most of us are using the term "AI" a bit incorrectly.
What we are trying to do here, as far as I can see, is VI, not AI. The intelligence we see in the so called "AI"s available so far are simulated and fails to emulate real intelligence, let alone demonstrate actual intelligence and awareness. They are not fully aware. But I guess that is why there is the singularity constraint. It is no doubt that when a VI finally becomes are fully aware AI, that is indeed the point of singularity.

Anyway, leaving the future dystopian thoughts aside, a mixture of ML, "AI" and VR have made some very interesting concepts, especially in the gaming industry, which I would love to see bear fruit in the near future.
