Also, it costs money. :)) I sonehow feel that any free software that has remotely close functionality to a paid app, is a goodone, that being said, I have 3 office suites installed and I know shit that's wrong with any of them.

Hausen7117y@securiter I have build a database recently using libreOffice Base, plus forms (the frontend basically).... it worked like shit. It randomly crashed. LibreOffice does this here and there, on multiple of my machines. And according to the libreoffice forums, in such a crash it is capable of destroying the entire database (if embedded, of course). Maybe it was all an hardware issue, I don' know. But sometimes, I simply expect something to work.
I'm sorry, but this is THE example for me, that free doesn't mean good automatically, at least for me. -
grayfox35937yThere are people that just doesn't use an office suite in a daily basis.
When I do data analytics I need Excel.
Sometimes I need to do presentations.
Those times, I curse LibreOffice.
Don't make me mention things like Abiword xD -
grayfox35937y@Jmann That being said... Office 365 sucks!
Google suite works like you said: for *most of* my needs and works very well.
