Recruiter rant #2.

"Hi, am I speaking to xroad? I got a position with <company> and I think you might be interested in it."

"Is this in <city>?"

"Um, I'm not sure"

I was contacted about a dozen times for the same position the week before. I had to tell him where it's located.

I've had some pretty bad experiences with recruiters lately. Half of them call me and the first thing they ask is my visa status. Like, wtf - at least tell me who I'm working for or where it's at first.

Sometimes I cut them off and ask them who the client is and they actually need to look it up.

The worst was this one company - in one day they had half a dozen people call me about the same position.
