It's they who need testing. Mental testing. Actually they don't. They failed when they tested you.

@AndSoWeCode appreciate the anger, lol. Was converting from contractor to full-time, and only found out about the test last week.

@Jmann I was definitely not impaired at work, I've never been intoxicated during work week. And even my manager said it makes him feel like an hypocrite. It happened in another state but apparently that doesn't matter at all.

I haven't had a drug test for an IT job since 2010. I smoked a lot in Seattle when I use to live there.

It's ridiculous; we need real legalization across the US. I hope Canada can get their laws changed at the national level.

I know that doesn't help. Sorry man. That's gotta be terrible. Hope you can find work that doesn't involve bullshit drug tests.
