How can people work with those surface of sun level bright white IDE themes? Like, do you wear your sunglasses at home too?

VS has this thing with bright theme that while it's tiring to your eyes, it's crystal-clear where every important bit of code is.

The dark theme on the other hand has blant, dry colors that debilitates my sense of 'direction'.

@HelloUglyWorld yeah i gave VSCode's themes a look, 3 bright white looking themes, a few as blant as the one you described and something dark with contrast that make you feel like a movie programmer which ia basically black screen qith bright lines and text... it's ok for me a little blant as long as text is properly colored. I dont like contrasts so much tbh
