What the fuck?
I can't understand people who are using ad blocking extensions in their browsers... Why don't you just use hosts file ad blocking or DNS service that filters ad provider hosts?
In this case you will have much faster working browser won't you?

Because I don't always have access to my own WiFi. Sometimes I need to use a publicly available solution, or a client provided solution.

Similarly, sometimes DNS solutions aren't as effective. Reek's list, for example, can't really be applied to a DNS solution effectively. And when ad block needs to be disabled, an in a browser solution is a click or two. A DNS based solution takes much more time to modify on-the-fly.

because I dont want fucking iframe content replaced with "host can't be reached" etc

Dns solution is so dumb. I don't know who the fuck would use it.

The micromanagement, the shitty iframes being there, the limitations.

Alternatively, I could use firefox with ublock origin for minimal speed impact.

(Another solution is dont use a potato)

because I sometimes need to enable ads.

Sometimes I specifically search for a company's website on Google (usually I use DuckDuckGo), and search for an ad to click on, when I've had bad experiences with that company.

Sometimes I just want to watch porn, and thumbnails are not accessible because ad blocking, so I make due with ads.

Sometimes I actually need info on sites that stop working on purpose if they detect an ad blocking solution.

Sometimes I read review of products that have affiliate links that are being tracked by conversion aggregators, and I wouldn't be able to pass through to that affiliate link to view the product being reviewed and its price.

Because ffox quantum + ublock origin is like 2% overhead and takes 3 clicks to set up.

Also I block more than ads. Social media buttons etc. Most of them come with additional cosmetic filters and as said before ublock origin handles resources much better than the older boys
