They sell billions of prozac pills everyday. Prozac is well-known for increasing suicidal ideation either at the start or at the end.

There are LSD analog who does not produce any psycho-active effect but increase neuroplasticity (building new neurones, new connection and thus new coping mechanisms) and increase moods.

If these idiots didn't forbid drugs even for scientists we would have solved depression by now.

    Yeah, I don't know why they don't consult you on this first.

    Really, in general, if politicians and scientists came to devrant and talked to us first the world would be a much better place.

    Because you are not a customer if you are healthy. None of the big pharma companies have any interest in healthy people. Their products make you sick so you have to buy more. They partner with food companies to create conditions where you need drugs. Food+Pharma=Sick Industry aka Health Care.

    magic mushrooms cure depression

    binds to a DMT receptor that then activates brain making new associations, effectively making you creative enough that you can crawl out of the bind you were in

    pharma wants money tho. that's why the real substances are banned and they keep trying to make synthetic ones. they want a patent so they can make a lot of money and have no competitors

    @Demolishun doomers always have this opinion but it’s just as reasonable to conclude that keeping your patients alive is just as profitable because alive people are the type of person that need medical care not the dead ones

    @AlgoRythm they don't want you dead. They want you sick.

    @Demolishun dependent*

    everyone wants you dependent on them, with hopefully no alternatives =]

    abusive controlling spouse vibes. then they can ask of you anything they want. if you don't have it, then let's kill them and make the pitch that the government must fork the bill or it would be immoral to keep killing people because they're too poor...

    @AlgoRythm in the case of Oxycontin, McKinsley, the consulting agency, had a meeting where they computed the cost of overdoses and included an "insurance" mechanism for manufacturers for the lost benefits.

    We know because we have the slides. It's not a conspiracy theory.

    They don't want TOO many people to die at the same time, but a few millions of us is cost of doing business for them.
