Tomorrow are is my final exam in english (I'm a german).
So what did I do today?
Learning...? A bit.
RegEx...? Heck yea!

Speaking by experience, english exams are bullshit, just look at my english quality and i got the first grade at each exam....

@Jakuho That's definately correct. My English in the internet is vastly different from my english in school.

And most of the grade depends on me knowing about ten stories, their characters, authors and release/publish dates.
Most of them aren't that bad, but, in my opinion, it's not really what an english exam is supposed to test.

I know that too well.. Once had to study for an exam for the next day. Opened my books aaaand ouh sweet you can compile rust to wasm now :D

@LinusCDE Yeah, and my Englisch teacher in eleventh grade also speaks German so often. How are you supposed to learn English like this? D:

@LinusCDE agreed. (I'm french) during my Master in web/game dev(c), the exam was just about speaking during 20 minutes about a free subject.. i got a 19/20 speaking about a character in LoL and how to play it 😲😅

@gamingfail123 I know that, too. In 10th grafe we barely had any english, that was just ridiculous considering that was the last year on that school (Realschule).
But in my current schooly (Gymnasium) things are finally taken way more seriously.
