Anyone else working from home today? Love that my current workplace has this option.

My previous workplace would have laughed in your face if you even suggested of working at home! Only our bosses were allowed to work from home (surprise surprise?)

I would love to, but instead we're gonna have a long team lunch today 😉

All my previous roles were a big no-no on remote work unless it was absolutely necessary / cleared ages in advance.

Luckily I work for myself now, but now I have the same problem that even though it’s a contractor position (which technically according to IR35 I should be able to work where I damn well please), the fucking companies still demand you be on-site.

It is hella nice working from home though.

Even my boss always mentions to me that if I want to work from home, I can do it as long as we don't have meeting that day. I tried some days but I ended watching movies or playing games. I don't thibk I will do it anymore. :P

I hate when companies prevent you to do that. Personally I want to have the freedom of choice in a workplace, and I have chosen not to work remotely from the reasons I mentioned above.

This makes me appreciate my boss and company more. (Even though they are a lot of days that he get on my nerves) :P
